Hades: God Of The Underworld

The Greeks believed in many different gods. I like all of them, but my favorite is Hades. He is the brother of Poseidon and Zeus. After their father, Cronus, was overthrown, he became god of the underworld. He has a three headed dog named Cerberus. His weapon is a pitchfork, which can create earthquakes, similar to Poseidon. The Greeks feared saying his name, so they instead called him Plouton from the Greek word for wealth. This is because of the minerals mined in his kingdom, and thus he also became the god of wealth.
