When I hear economics I think of business and money. Some business rip you off, they produce something for $4 and sell it for $15, yeah they need to make money but that's way too much. Good stores produce goods for $6 sell for somewhere around $9 -$11. Business are all brought up from the ground, meaning they need to spend more money then they make untill there a big company. When you make lemonade do you charge $1.50 for something you put 15 cense into, no its a rip off.
I like the topic of the post Jonah. It's true business people do rip you off and they do it every day. Some things even like cups are sold for very unreasonable prices. In the end you should add a question so it has a larger range for comments, and yes selling goods for more than they are worth is only good to a certain extent. Have you ever bought anything and gotten ripped off?
ReplyDeleteI agree with Johan. If a business makes and sells an item for too much then you'll find a place that sells it for cheaper. If something is too over price then just don't buy it. Sometimes places have to add lots of money to get up back to proffit and above 0 dollars.
