Promise's Reflection.

So basically in the movie, Promises, we are seeing the Israeli- Arab war from different kid's points of view. Although they have different opinions on the other they all can agree on one thing: they want the war to end. Something that I found interesting was when Mahmoud said he would never want to meet a Jew, when really B.Z is Jewish. When Mahmoud finds this out he is shocked. I think the problem here is that these kid's parents teach them to hate the Arabs/ Israeli's and that chain just goes on and on. When Faraj spoke on the phone with the twins they didn't talk about the conflict or how much they hated each other. They talked about soccer, and sports, and common interests they shared. If we wouldn't  judge ad hate people based on what we are told kids like them could be really good friends.
