Protesters in Syria have recently been fighting for freedom. First, the government forced guns on the people and they demanded that President al-Assad resign. Assad refused to resign. The violence has gotten much worse recently and Assad offered to change some ways the country was run, the protesters didn’t believe it. Finally, President al-Assad still has a portion of Syria that doesn’t believe him. Hopefully soon the protesting will stop and everyone will be able to live in peace. Do you believe the protesters are fighting for what is right, or are they just fighting to fight?
