Syria Conflicts

First on March 2011 violence started in Syria. It all started when 15 boys and girls did some anti-government graffiti on a wall and later got arrested for it. People in Syria started to protest. Then on the 18th of march the government reacted angrily, shooting and killing 4 people. The next day they shot at people attending the funerals killing another person. People in Syria got angry and shocked at what happened. would you like to hear more? if so go to  and comment below what you learned and what your opinion is!

  1. I would love to hear more. Did they open fire on the kids or did the protesting get larger and other people were shot? I don't think them opening fire on the people was the right way to go and they should have handled it in a easier way.

  5. The government didn't handle that in a good way at all. I hate when people try to make a stand an it ends in violence between the citizens and the government. If I was in Syria at that time I would be shocked and angry too. For example, in Ras al-Ayn, 200 Armenian families escaped into nearby cities, some going to Hassake. If I lived there, I would try to escape as well!
