Gorillas!!! Wait let's rethink this. MOUNTAIN GORILLAS?! What in the world is that?!

When I first heard the word mountain gorillas I said to myself ''what is this"? I thought for a long two seconds and sounded the words Mountain-gorillas. I realized both of those words are in my big vocabulary. These animals live in Kenya and they are so adorable. Sadly there is only about 700 Mountain gorillas left meaning they are endangered. Mountain Gorillas eat foods like wild celery, bamboo, bed-straw and certain types of fruit. Humans have destroyed their natural habitats making it hard or almost impossible for them to live. If we would stop destroying their habitats, in a few years they may not be endangered. Humans would never get kicked out of their home for no reason at all so why do we do it to animals. We should all be treated the exact same. I have learned much more about mountain gorillas. I really hope that we can open our eyes and realize what we are doing to this world. What do you think we can do as people to help save mountain gorillas and other almost extinct animals?

  1. I hope so too. It seems like all over animals are going extinct because of humans destroying there habit. It's not right. 41,415 species are extinct and Mountain Gorillas are just one species. Like you said if we can just open our eyes it will save so many animals. There may be 2 subspecies of Mountain Gorilla's but they are still going extinct, and it's not like they do harm to the environment, they actually help it.

  2. Did you know that the number of mountain gorillas has decreased and now there are only about 700 left! I don't know why humans are so cruel. We are basically a virus. Not everyone. It is like earth is a cell, slowly it is dying. Animals are dying and it is becoming even dangerous to go outside because of pollution in some places! It might not happen to our generation, but basically humans are making it harder for themselves to live on earth. If it doesn't stop soon, the end will be really near!

  4. I agree with Sydney and Abood there are only 700 of these mountain gorillas left. Like I don't even understand why people keep killing these gorillas, like don't they see that they are losing their population. People are becoming more and more dangerous. We are one of the main reasons that living things are becoming extinct. We are killing animals, humans, plants, bugs, etc. But these poor gorillas are probably going through the worst right now. Losing all of their friends, and family. What if you were the last of your kind and you watched everyone in your "group/kind/species" die out
