What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of entertainment? How about sports, television, or movies? What about puppetry? In india puppetry is very common, especially in villages. There are regular puppet shows and people of all ages actually come and see them, especially during festivals. Music is also a big thing in India. Most people spend their time glued to the television listening to film songs or radio. The genre’s of music in India consist of folk, popular, pop, and classic. Music is also a big part of the India’s film industry. Dance is another example of entertainment in India. Dance is a very big part of India’s culture as well. There are all different types of dances in styles depending on the region. Most of the dances that are performed in India convey a lot of emotions and messages through hand motions and facial expressions. Although, I think that the dresses of these dancers are the main attraction. They’re absolutely gorgeous. Although America and South Asia have very similar activities we do for entertainment, what are some differences between our activities?
