Mountain Gorillas, an Endangered Species

Mountain Gorillas are magnificent creatures that have been roaming the Earth for many year. These Gorillas have many interactions similar to humans.  One example is that friendships are made. The young male gorillas try to show off to one another by having strength competitions. Also, mostly during resting time, the young Gorillas get together in a group and play. Another example is that every gorilla has a spot, and there is a leader. The leader is a male that has silver hair grown on his back.
The absolutely extraordinary are now endangered, and humans are the main cause of this. Poaching, and recent wars are some of the acts that has caused the death of thousands of Mountain Gorillas. Today a mere 700 Mountain Gorillas are roaming the Earth, and as a species  there is an estimated ten years left until extinctions arises. As a result many different organizations have been made to prevent the disaster of extinction. What else do you think should be done to save the Gorillas?

  1. That's really sad. I like gorillas. They act a lot of humans and should be saved. I think people should stop invading their habitat and help breed more mountain gorillas because without them, our world could go totally wrong since the food chain would be cut and other species would multiply and WE WILL ALL DIE!!! Yeah. Why do you think should be done?

    1. I agree with most of what you think. One thing is that I think that humans should stop destroying forests. However I understand what you are trying to say about us helping breed mountain gorillas, but there is also a downside to that. If humans breed Mountain Gorillas they won't be wild Gorillas, so in a way they would go extinct anyways. Maybe instead of breeding them we can have groups that ensure that newborns are safe.

  2. I meant "What do you think should be done?" instead of "Why do you think should be done?"
