Chaos in Egypt

Egypt has been plunged in chaos. There have been uprisings and, in response, mass prosecutions that seem to prosecute random people that have minimal or no connection to the protests whatsoever.  The judicial system has become increasingly strict and violent and it seems like the ruler of Egypt will be overthrown soon.
The unrest in Egypt has grown ever since 2011, when an uprising overthrew president Hosni Mubarak. The police force and judicial system have been trying to calm the unrest ever since.
Many civil rights have been violated. For example, an author was sent to jail because a judge did not like what his novel portrayed about Cairo's young people. A three year old boy was wrongly sentenced to life in jail and a policeman shoots a man after an argument.
There is no doubt that I love Egypt, but this chronic unrest is starting to taint my opinion. What do you think of Egypt's unrest?
