The Dilemma on a (creepy robot invasion futuristic) Facial Recognition

There’s a security camera that’s taking pictures of you and recognizing you. It might sound like creepy robot invasion futuristic whateveryoucallit stuff, but don’t worry-it’s just facial recognition. Right? Some people say, “No. This weird creepy robot invasion futuristic whateveryoucallit thing you call ‘facial recognition’ is dangerous and invades your privacy.” while the other side says, “What the heck are you talking about?? This new tech helps us solve cases way faster than before!” You don’t want to get on the bad side of the police...they sound angry. Anyway, back to this topic, we don’t want to really skip across topic to topic do we? We use facial recognition a LOT nowadays (And I mean a LOT, not just a lot, a LOT.), using iPhone X and iPhone 11s and other sorts of phones that uses this technology. People are fine with that because it secures your privacy. But using security cameras that takes pictures of you and recognizes you because it’s actually just security is NOT fine, and oh no, it's the end of the world because I have no privacy at all! You get my drift, right? Let’s play a game-the ‘Would You Rather’ game. Would you rather have Privacy or Safety? If you chose privacy, either 1. You can’t read, or 2. You aren’t human, or 3. You live under a rock. Safety is way more important than just having Privacy...I mean, think about it: A serial killer is running around in your neighborhood. You’d want to get rid of that person as soon as possible right?? (Unless, I don’t know, you wanna die or something. Then, in that case, this does not apply to you.) Facial recognition makes that possible. Serial killers also come into your home to try to kill you, so you wouldn’t have privacy either way. Also, facial recognition isn’t too bad in ways of Privacy either. One of the policemen isn’t looking at your private files, unless they’re an imposter trying to steal something or whatever. And even if they were...they can be caught, using facial recognition.

Welp. What do you think about facial recognition? Did I change your opinion from before you read this post? I challenge you to try to change my mind on facial recognition-ha, good luck.
