In the creation of dora the explorer the creators wanted to make the next big hit preschooler show. They brainstormed a lot of ideas then eventually decided to keep It simple. It was always going to be a girl, but originally was going to be a white girl. Then they realized that it needed to be a aspanick girl, and that a white girl defined what america is to much. One of the original ideas was The Bunny and the Mommy would go on an adventure together, and they'd go to the post office, and then you had a treasure hunt with kitty cats.
