The Wonders Of Pakistan

Have you ever been to Pakistan? Did you know that two Pakistanis have won the Nobel Peace Prize? Abdus Salam won the prize for contributing to the “electroweak unification theory”, and Malala Yousafzai a women's education activist won the prize as the ever winner at 17 years old. Malala even has books written about her which is a huge feat.
The name Pakistan derives of two words “pak” which means “holy” in Persian and “istan” which means “a place” in Hindi. The full name would basically be the holy place. Another fun fact about Pakistan is that its national anthem was ranked as one of the best anthems in the world. Overall Pakistan is a really interesting place. Do you want to visit Pakistan someday?

  1. Is Malala the youngest person to win the Nobel Peace Prize? I recommend that you should read Aysha's blog post because it talks about food and that was the one thing that you didn't talk about. It is really cool that the people in Pakistan decided to use two different languages to make a name for themselves. Have you ever listened to Pakistan's national anthem? I'm pretty sure that Abdus Salam shared the Nobel Prize, not the Nobel Peace Prize. Overall really good blog post.

  2. I think pakistan is very interesting. It is cool how it is named "the holy place'. Even though it is only holy in some religions. I also want to know if Malala is the youngest person to win the Nobel Peace Prize. The national anthem sounds like it is very cool. I haven't heard it. You should read Aysha's blog post about Pakistani food because it is what you didn't talk about. This was a very good blog post.
