Afghan cuisine

Afganistan

There are many foods in Afganistan but they mainly eat foods that come from their local farms like wheat, maize barley, and rice. They also use some of their native fruits and vegetables in their dishes like Dates, melons, spinach fresh mint, etc. One of the main dishes is Kabuli Palaw which is steamed rice mixed with raisins, carrots, and lamb. This dish is also the dish of Afganistan. They also drink many kinds of drinks in Afghanistan like doogh, which is a yogurt drink that is a mix of yogurt, water, and dried mint. They usually drink this drink in the summer.

  1. I like that you focused on Afghanistan when so many people talked about India. I also like the photo that you put on your blog post it looks nice. I was also told by a friend that afghans eat sour-like food there compared with Indian food, which is plan out spicy. I like that you talked about things that people eat regularly, because people talked only about ceremonial foods like Chicken Biryani.
