Nepalese Common Dishes

One common food in Nepal is Momo. Momo is actually a common food in Southwest and Central Asia! Momo is similar to Nepal's version of dumplings. Momo usually consists of chicken or pork. When you eat Momo, there are two types. Momo can either be steamed or pan-fried. Momo is usually served with dipping sauces. When you are having pan-fried momo, it is called kothey momo. With steamed Momo, they are typically served with a hot sauce called C-Momo. This dish looks very tasty. The three places I would like to travel to are India, Nepal, and Bangladesh. I would especially like to travel to Nepal because I would like to try Momo. How to make Momo.

Another common dish in Nepal is Lai. Lai is made of sesame seeds or puffed rice mixed with jaggery syrup. They are usually shaped as small circular balls. They are typically celebrated at the Maghe Sankranti festival. This event takes place in February. If you could choose one of these dishes to eat, which one would it be?

  1. Hey David, to answer your question, I would choose to eat momo. It looks delicious. Now, about your blog post. I like how you choose 2 specific dishes, but I kind of want to hear more about the food in general. The first paragraph was a little all over the place. You kind of went from talking about the food and automatically saying 3 places you would like to visit. But other than that your blog post is pretty good.
