What Promises thought me

I think that promises showed me a lot about how different people have to act according to religion even though they live in the same spot. I learned that if you are a Jew you can't cross into Islamic territory. Also, even though these people have different religions and practices they are the same in many ways even if they don't know each other the slightest bit. I really like how they showed how the kids were reacting to their problems which were almost the same even though they are different. This is what promises taught me, what did it teach you?
