Water Disputes in the Middle East
In the Middle East, there is a very scarce supply of water. Unlike oil, which they make billions of dollars off every year, they have barely any water to supply to everyone. Many people there have died from lack of water. From not having water, a war could start within that region. This would be because there is only so much water that the U.S. and other countries can ship over, that the Middle East would need to fight for it. On the other hand, with the United States, we used to not be able to produce much oil, so we had to ship it in from the Middle East. Now, we can produce it ourselves, and now the Middle East isn't getting the money they need. In conclusion, the Middle East might start a war over water. Do you think they will start a war, or will they figure out how to distribute it equally?
