When I watched the walk video about the Gaza Strip. It really hit me hard. I felt so bad for those adults and even kids in that walk. In addition to being sad for the people I didn’t know how people lived there. It started with a little 5 year old girl named Tukka Najjar standing where her house was before it got burnt down. This was all happening after a war in Israel and the Gaza Strip. There were little kids bathing in the dirty water of the river. There were kids running around and hanging in the houses. Along with that there was a car driving through the village and that really confused me. It was a really nice car too. The next section was people in the hospital. :( There were people from the ages of 70 to even 5. First, there was a man with a brace on his whole upper leg. There was a women who had her hand and eye burned off. Then the saddest of all there was a little boy probably about 5 years old. The poor little boy had burns all over his body and bandages on them. What impact did the walk have on you?

This impacted me like it impacted you. It is so sad to think these children go to bed worrying about the next bomb while we are worrying about what we eat for breakfast the next day. In addition, they can’t do anything about it. All around them family and friends are dying and they are still children! It would be a hard job to work at the hospital seeing all those people hurt 24/7. I don’t think I would be able to bear living there. What would you do if you were in that situation?

I think it just makes you think of how lucky we are to live in such a nice houses, and get to go to a nice school with nice people. What do you think that we could do to help these kids have better lives?
