Hotels and the Rich Life 🍜

Haven't you ever noticed that you see big hotels and fancy fountains and humongous pools. Well that is the middle east. My dad works for the oil rigs and he has told me that he stayed in a very fancy hotel for his ride to come. He could see over the whole area of Saudi Arabia. Compared to Other countries he has been that he has been in poor areas like in Kuwait. He has been in poor areas, he told me that it depends where the oil is that determines how the people live and how much money they have. Do you agree with me or do you not??

  1. It's weird that money and oil can determine whether you have a house or water and live in a safe environment. I think clearly this is a problem in Dubai with some people living the high life and some people struggling to get food on the table. Finally I agree with you.

  2. I agree with you, I think they should make it so if your working hard you get a lot of money because there are always those rich kids born into wealth and they don't do anything in their lives except be spoiled and rich. I think this is a main problem in Dubai and they could change that by choosing a different government frankly, the poor people should start riots, etc to change the government, go on a kind of strike like the Missouri football team take away something people need so the government will change. Or the poor people can organize themselves in peaceful protests to get more fair wages, etc.

  3. I agree with you, Clayton. First of all, I think it's really cool that your dad gets to see Saudi Arabia. I would totally want to go there! Second, I never thought that the middle east was rich, at all. I used always think deserts, camels, hotness, poor people, but I guess I was wrong. I'm sure it was awesome for your dad to be able to work around the Middle East. Some rich people were literally born rich in a rich family and pretty much lived a rich life without really working much to be rich. I just rich like 5 times! I wonder how it would be if I was born in a rich family?

  6. Hi Clayton,
I agree with you. The oil business is very important for the question if a country is rich or not. The job of your dad sounds really interesting. Do you think you want to work in the oil business too?
