Why Has Dora become so Popular?

I had a thought about how Dora the explorer would look like now if she were to be made now but not before, about the time when they first had the idea. When they first made Dora it was a better time, by that I mean there were fewer problems from immigration, less segregation of the races (there still was but yeah)(Mexican, Russian, African, etc...) than there was before President Trump brought up immigration and making the wall, since Dora was Latinx something she might not be liked as much because of her race. They originally made Dora to fix the problems of immigration so if she came here now into real life thinking she fixed problems, how would she feel? Tell me what your thoughts on this subject are
