A Fork In the Road: DIfficulties for Cuba

Many people in Cuba don’t have the opportunities we have here in America. While many different things are changing and there are more freedoms, such as access to technology, there are still many restrictions and boundaries for the people who live in Cuba. For example; clothes and basic necessities are very expensive. Many people get around $25 or less per month in Cuba, working a government job. To immigrate to another country, they would have to save money, and that is incredibly difficult, considering they are just barely scraping by. Then, there is the issue of the countries allowing them to migrate and enter their borders, and then giving them the means to do so. The perseverance and resolve the residents of Cuba have shown has shaped them into who they now are, and, while they face many difficulties, they still love their country. If you were to be put in their position, what would you do?
