Dora The Explorer: What you Didn't Know About Her

Have you ever watched that weird show about that weird little girl? Dora the Explorer? The show with that map that talks? You probably have. Right now you would probably think that Dora the Explorer is the weirdest show ever. Well, it makes sense. It’s a show meant for very young people. But, you probably don’t know what’s happening behind the scenes.

The makers of the show wanted to make a show for very young people. But how did they do it? Well, first they had to find how the main character would be, act, and look like. They decided to make her from a different country because some people in America are from different places and also so small children would understand to treat everybody the same. And she would speak spanish for learning purposes. They made her young because most of the viewers are very young. Some people suggested to name the girl Dora and everybody agreed. Isabela Moner voices Dora.

The show quickly blew up, just went KABOOM! Because so many young kids loved the show. They also made a movie with real actors and people because of its successfulness, and people liked it too. Here’s a question for you, how do you rate the show?
