Dora’s Lasting Magic

Hola soy Dora. You’ve probably have grown-up with this show, the one with the monkey, fox. Dora. Dora the Explorer. The creators were told to make the next hit show. They hired people to brainstorm ideas for the show. They quickly went to go girl. They choose to make a show who would ask preschoolers -the audience- to help her solve her problem. In the 1990’s producer Chris Gifford was tasked to make the next hit TV show, but the catch is that they had a competitor. Blues Clues. Blues Clues was a show that is about Steve and Blue (his dog) and he would ask the audience questions. Nick Jr. said that Dora was going Latina and bilingual. The one of or even most important question that Nick Jr. faced was ‘Where is Dora from?’ Dora tried and succeeded by teaching kids to have an open mind.
