Dora Today
If Dora were created today I would have her look the same but I wouldnt make her voice so annoying because then maybe more people would like her. I think Dora would be disappointed in our nation because since she is a kid character it seems like she would want people to be nice but a lot of people aren’t.
I wouldn’t be friends with Dora because she is really annoying and she has been like five years old for 20 years.
I like that you are honest about how you feel about Dora, but I think you could have written a littel bit more about what you think about her. I think it was smart to add a picture, because then readers could really get what you mean about how she has been the same age for 20 years. Maybe you should take out the word "like" and replace it or just take it out.
ReplyDeleteNice job! I liked the information you gave about Dora. For example, when you talked about Dora changed so much and that other generations might not think of Dora in the same way. That made me think about literature class when we talked about generations and how she changed the way people see Latinas. You should be proud about what you wrote. Since you read the article do see Dora in a different way?
