The Colorful Festival of Holi
If you want your life to be more colorful, go to India! The Festival of Holi starts in March on the 23rd and ends on the 24th. Hundreds of people go on the streets of India and splash each other with colors, eggs, tomatoes, and even more. It is such a celebration of colors that even political leaders take part of the event because somedays you just have to have a break and have fun. Children, young adults, adults, and elderly people have a great time partying and dancing to bollywood tunes. Even though it sounds like you don’t need any police around, they do. There is more police officers than regular days to prevent hooliganism. If I had the chance to go to the Festival of Holi I would take the chance. Would you?

If I lived in INdia I would go to this every year! It seems like such an event. Even though getting smashed with tomatoes might be a little messy it would still be fun! All the color and fun vibes would create a peaceful surrounding You did a really good job capturing the surroundings of India. You did a really good job of capturing the image in my head. I would definitely go to India!
ReplyDeleteIf I was anywhere close to India I would be the first one there to see that. The smashing tomatoes and eggs part would be the best. I read online that the children are first ones to get into the action. I would be scared to death with the police officers around because it would always fee like they're watching me. What part would you like best if you had the chance to go to that festival?
