Gangtok's International Flower Festival
India has lots of flowers and is very biodiverse. To celebrate this, they hold a national festival in the capital of Sikkim, which is Gangtok. There are over 600 species of orchids that are shown off there, and at least fifty species of rhododendron. There are also gladioli, roses, and other plants that they show off. It is from April to May, and is located near White Hall in Gangtok, Sikkim. There are also flowers and plants that are indigenous only to India. It is the experience of a lifetime. I would love to go here because I didn't know that there were more than 600 species of orchids and I would like to know what a rhododendron is. Where would you like to go in India?
