Sanic Train

Geometry, calculations, science and a lot of speed. A train in Japan is being made to top the world record for fastest train at over 500 km per hour. Not only is this train fast, but it can levitate. It can levitate using magnets on the train tracks. This makes it feel as if you are floating in space. Not only is the train fast and can levitate but it is also much safer than most trains because if the train is levitating than the train cannot slip off the rails.

Tokyo is a Crazy but Amazing Place

Capsule hotels in Tokyo, Japan are AWESOME. They are really small and I would get really claustrophobic but other than that Tokyo's capsule hotels are sweet. Capsule hotels started doing business more than 30 years ago. Also you  may have seen pictures, but not all of those capsule hotel rooms are that small. In my opinion, I think capsule hotels are awesome but I also like sticking to regular hotel rooms. I like to walk around in a room i mean don't get me wrong it would be so fun to sit on the bed all day and just watch t.v. (then I could use the excuse "there was nothing else to do" because you literally couldn't do anything else in your room.) I kind of wanna try it sometime but you don't have to go to Tokyo, Japan to try one there are some capsule hotels outside of Japan. I challenge you to look up capsule hotels and think about if you would like it or not. :)

Your Average Day In Tokyo

Your long black hair sways in front of your face. An average citizen in Tokyo, Japan, you are used to the crowds. People bustle all around you, jostling your cup of coffee. In a city with a population of 13.35 million people, space is not something you’re used to. You’re not rich, so you live in a tiny capsule hotel. You consider it spacious, for a capsule. You’ve never experienced anything different. Your parents and your parents’ parents grew up in Tokyo, and it’s all you’ve ever known. The car fumes are air to you, and the constant rain fits like a second skin. Someone bumps your arm, and your coffee spills over the ground. It doesn’t bother you as much as you thought it would; in such a crowded city, it happens all the time. You quickly slip through the elevator doors just before they close. You work as a software engineer for a large company, and you can’t afford to be late. The elevator is small, but at least 6 people are stuffed in there. When you reach your floor, the office space is bustling with movement. You move through the people and reach your desk, finally sitting down. This is an average day for someone in a huge Japanese city like Tokyo. Would you like to live there?

Transportation in Japan?

Imagine you're studying abroad in Tokyo Japan. You wake up in your new apartment, and get ready for your first class. When you reach the train station people are waiting for everyone to try and fit on the train, and when it looks like it’s full, workers start shoving people into the train. These people get payed to push people onto the train until they can close the doors. In Tokyo it is impossible to get around. The streets are crowded,  the buses are stuffed, and well you know what the trains are like. You would need to leave two hours earlier just to make it on time. What if you wanted to meet some friends, or you were on your way to school, you would need to go through so much trouble just to go out. Would you like to live in a city like this?

Have You Ever Wanted to Sleep in a Space Ship?? Well Capsule Hotels are your Best Bet!!

It think capsule hotels are like a mini space ship that you sleep, lounge and watch TV in!! The idea of the capsule bed I think is a lot like sleeping in a space ship. I like the idea of capsule hotels but I don’t know how everyone would feel about them. I think the idea is awesome but somethings they could improve. Things like the bathrooms. I think you should have more privacy. I feel like if I were staying in a capsule hotel and had to share a bathroom with all the other girls on your floor then I would feel uncomfortable. But, on the other note I like the idea of the little capsule beds. I think you have your privacy, yet you are by other people. One things I don’t especially like about the capsule beds is that there isn’t much space. If someone is claustrophobic then what are they going to do, feel swished all night?! Some cool things about the capsule hotels are that all toiletries are provided. There is a capsule hotel in Japan called 9 hours. It’s called 9 hours because you should spend 9 hours there. 7 hours to sleep, 1 hour to relax and 1 hour to shower. Overall I think the idea of capsule hotels are awesome and I think if they make some little improvements they would be so much better!! I think capsule hotels would be a big hit in America!!

India, the land of amazing food.

India seems like a really fun and exciting place to go. They have a variety of food there like Curry, Pearl millet, and some really spicy foods. I would want to go there when I’m in college because I feel like that's a good time to go. Some of my family has gone there but not me. When they came back they talked about the places they went to like the Taj Mahal, Amber Fort, and Akshardham. Those are some of the best attractions in India. In most of East India the people eat rice and beans and in the North there is a lot of cool mountain ranges and valleys. If I go to India my first stop is the Taj Mahal and then explore one of the most populated country in the world. If you went to India what would you do they?

Banana Pancakes

thailand is a very  interesting place to me. My mom and dad traveled there once and said it was a very nice place to be. Street markets are open from eight AM to ten PM and, the air is filled with many different aromas of food. They told me about the awesome pancakes that the Thailanders (is that what they're called?) make with a special dough and bananas. What desert from Thailand would you like to try?
